The Bedford House is located in Bed-Stuy, a historic Brooklyn neighborhood that feels like home with its quaint streets and vibrant culture. As you enjoy all the Bedford House has to offer, you’ll meet people from every corner of the world, building a community from the comfort of your home.
The space
The house is a brand new building with updated appliances, hardwood floors, large windows and in-unit washer/dryers. Each unit in the Bedford House has two floors connected by a spiral staircase, a large kitchen, dining area and living room for common use. In the basement there’s a large shared lounge, laundry facilities and access to the beautifully furnished backyard. All of the common areas are spacious compared to the average New York City apartment.
Guest access
The entire apartment (besides other bedrooms) is yours to call home! You'll have open access to the living room, kitchen and all other common areas.
Other things to note
The well-being of our guests is our top priority, and we're committed to providing a safe environment for members at all Outpost houses. To ensure this, we require each guest to complete a few steps prior to arrival. Your booking will not be complete until all steps below are completed:
1. We will request your phone and email address. Some houses have remote lock systems which require this info. We also require your email to create an account for you on our maintenance portal
2. We will request a photo of the ID of each person that moves into the apartment/room. This will be requested during booking and again at check-in.
3. We will request Transunion background/credit checks for urgent move-ins, instant bookings, and move-ins for 30 days or more. The background/credit check will not impact your score and is free for you.
4. The landlord requires a lease signed by all guests who make a long-term Airbnb booking (for 30 days or more). Please be aware that we may be requiring you to sign a lease as part of the booking process.
Additionally, please note:
1. Outpost Club does not accept bookings made by one person for another (third-party bookings). If you want to book an Outpost Club property, you must use your own Airbnb account. Outpost Club requires the person booking to present the exact identification attached to the Airbnb account during the move-in. For group bookings, the person booking must be part of the group moving in.
2. All photos in the listing are examples of the unit you will be staying in as we have many units in each location. Please note that the units you book may vary slightly in furniture, look, and spacial arrangement. Please understand photos can make space look larger than they appear in the photo.
3. We may have security cameras in place in common areas, public hallways, and basements.
4. Early check-in may be available, but can not be guaranteed (due to other bookings' departures, availability of staff, etc.) If available there will be an early check-in fee of $40, and the earliest possible time would be 12 PM (again subject to other factors).
5. Night check-in (after 9 pm) may be also organized for an extra fee of $30 USD. We can't guarantee check-in between 12:00 am and 9 am (the following day after your booking commences), however, if we are able to do it, there will be a $70 late check-in fee.
