Mersham, England, United Kingdom

Cranbrooks Cottage is a perfect base for walking, cycling, exploring the wonderful countryside of the Weald, the Romney Marsh and the North Kent Downs (AONB).

There are many places that are well worth a visit, such as the city of Canterbury, which is the second most popular city for tourists, after London.

Along the varied coastline there are interesting towns and villages, such as Whitstable, Margate, Broadstairs, St Margaret's at Cliffe, Dover, Folkstone to Hythe and Rye.

Inland the county is dotted with many beautiful Kent villages, like Tenterden, Chilham, Wye, Appledore and Elham. Most have good pubs and places to eat.
