This is one of the few places in the area with free parking.
Your private rooms in the country side & amazing views are surrounded by farms. Shopping & nightlife in Niagara Falls & St. Catharines, yet you come home to a ravine with babbling brook, fire pit & nature trails right in your back yard. We border Short Hills Provincial Park with trails for hiking, bicycling or horse-back riding. The huge above-grade windows display the scenery & let lots of light flood into this basement suite. Close to golf courses, vineyards, antique shops, restaurants & pubs.
The space
Enjoy a relaxing evening in the living room as you watch a wide-screen TV or hop on the WiFi. The kitchenet offers you the convenience to prepare food and get cold drinks any time. Enjoy a quiet restful sleep in a separate bedroom and offer your travelling companions sleeping space on a comfortable fold-out sofa-bed. You are welcome to enjoy the common areas like the back deck or ravine and you have full use of the BBQ. You also have access to binoculars and night-vision glasses to scan the forest at night.

This is a rural neighborhood - perfect for walks down a country road or hiking in the forest. Its an eight-minute car ride to Fonthill - a small town with numerous pubs, restaurants, antique shops, pizzerias and more. There are well-known wineries and tourist attractions in all directions. This is the place where enjoyment is plentiful.
Other things to note
Early morning and evenings are the best time for deer sightings. Their trail literally crosses our property. We have seen 15 trouping together along the hillside. During late evenings you can hear coyotes off in the far distance calling to each other. This is the place where you can choose to connect with nature or enjoy the nightlife in nearby Niagara Falls and St. Catharines.

Neighbourhood highlights
Quiet serenity on this scarcely travelled road with our closest neighbor about 400 feet away makes this the perfect place to enjoy nature walks, a bon fire, some good BBQ and drinks with friends. Have your camera ready to capture deer that regularly cross the property. You may even be lucky enough to feed the birds from your hands. It's hard to believe such a place exists only a short drive from night life.

My wife, Michelle, and I did extensive renovations to the rental suite. We did everything with our guests in mind. It's very roomy, yet cozy. You'll discover this is more of a destination than it is just a place to keep the rain off your head. With Short Hills Provincial Park surrounding our property you have immediate access to trails and nature. Stretch your evening with a campfire either at ground level or down in the ravine. We are minutes from the US border, Niagara Falls, and lots of wineries. Come out, relax and enjoy.
