Location

Huntington, England, United Kingdom

Huntington is a farming hamlet of 80 houses on the welsh border in Herefordshire close to the Offa's Dyke long distance path . Recorded in the Domesday book in 1086 we have the remains of an 11th century castle and a tiny pub The Swan Inn. The early 13th century church dedicated to St. Thomas a Becket is accessed through our garden. It is one of only four English churches still to claim Thomas a Becket as Patron. We are close to The Brecon Beacons National Park which is one of the darkest areas in Wales to observe the night sky - so no light pollution here. Awarded the International Dark Sky Association’s coveted “Dark Sky Reserve” award in 2013. The famous little town of Hay on Wye is just 9 miles away remarkable for its bookshops and its international literary festival.
