Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Every season has something special to offer here in the NEK (Northeast Kingdom), and we have plenty to do outdoors!
Our rustic cabin is cozy and inviting, offering all of the amenities you would need for the perfect getaway or work & play. Nearby mountains include Jay Peak, Burke, Pisgah and Bald Mountains, with opportunities to explore, hike and unwind. With Lake Willoughby only 2 miles away, you will love this area!

The space
The cabin is close to the road, so it is easily accessible for those who do not have 4 wheel drive, but the privacy comes from the land around the cabin, which is a mixture of woods and open area, with a pond. The backyard is partially fenced in and perfect to enjoy the firepit or to play with your pets. The deck has a grill you are welcome to use just out the back door. Inside, there are 3 separate bedrooms as well as an office for those of you who need to work remotely or at least need a work space. The main bedroom has a queen sized bed, the guest room has a full sized bed, and in the loft there are 2 additional beds. Store your skis in the super-sized mudroom, and feel free to borrow the snowshoes for your stay.

Location

Brownington, Vermont, United States

So, there really is no neighborhood per se. This is the countryside with lots of free space. Nearby are an amish farm with homemade quilts and baked goods, The Gap for local beers and great dinners, and the Old Stone House Museum for a bit of history of the area. You can get yourself lost on any of the remote dirt roads nearby and just explore!
