Beautiful area
Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Wake up to fresh, local coffee in the trees. Spend the day hiking and exploring the beaches and trails of beautiful East Sooke Park with your furry friends. Finish the day by the fire or in the outdoor tub amongst giant conifers. A treehouse sleepover fit for adults. Glamping at its finest.
The space
Our unique space is located in a magical junction between rural land, the forest, and ocean in East Sooke. The treehouse features a kitchenette with a full fridge, dining space, separate-entrance bathroom with tiled shower overlooking the forest and a loft bedroom accessible by ladder! Outdoor features include an outdoor tub and a propane firepit.
Please note when booking: We are not child-friendly for safety reasons. We love hosting furry friends as we have wonderful off-leash hiking in East Sooke Park. We ask that there are no pets in the upper loft/bed for safety and to keep linens fur-free so please consider this when booking.
PLEASE NOTE-Propane for the outdoor firepit is an extra charge of approx $30 per full tank. This is the cost to fill a tank of propane, though you are welcome to bring your own. It was previously rolled into the nightly and guests who did not want to use the fire, did not want it included in their stay. We are doing our best to please everyone. Thanks!!!!!!
Sauna/Cold Plunge Rental $100/2 hour session! We are happy to light the fire and get it hot for you if we are home!
Guest access
Guests have access to the treehouse, path, exterior deck, exterior outdoor tub, and the gravelled parking space.
Sauna must be booked separately. Please inquire.
Please note: The jets in the tub are not functioning as we continue to deal with supply chain issues. The price reflects this as we have not increased cost for this new amenity.
Other things to note
Our community is full of wildlife! Please be bear, cougar, and wolf aware before visiting! Keep an eye on pets and keep your trash contained!
Bring rain gear—we live in a rainforest!
The bathroom is separate entrance. You may want to bring slippers for trips the bathroom and tub. We would get slippers but aren’t super keen on the environmental impact of cheap/disposable slippers. We do have robes!

Neighbourhood highlights
We are a five minutes’ drive to the Pike Road entrance and ten minutes’ drive to the Aylard Farm entrance of East Sooke Park. The park features a rugged and challenging, 10k coastal trail; inland mountain trails, and an endless combination of loops, hills, caves, points, fields, and cabins to explore. The park is off-leash friendly.
If you’re up for a bit of a scenic drive, head out to Metchosin and visit Devonian Park or Witty’s Lagoon, and stop for a meal at Mychosen Cafe/Mychosen Pizza and dessert at the Sugar Shack (milkshakes and pizza is our Sunday ritual).
We are fairly removed from town and would recommend stocking up on food in Langford before making your way out here.
