Come enjoy a slow life on a peaceful cove! The Hideaway Cove is a modern house nestled on the northwest corner of the Lake Buchanan and a perfect spot for a family vacation or a getaway with friends. Go kayaking/fishing directly from the backyard and explore one of the biggest lakes in Texas! Jump in the pool or indulge on reading while listening to birds chirp! You can also walk to a winery just 1/2 mile away or take day trips around the Texas Hill Country. It's a hidden gem for all to enjoy.

The space
***For the latest water level, please check the LCRA's river operations report for Lake Buchanan. The maximum storage level is 1018 ft msl (May-Oct) or 1020 ft msl (Nov-Apr) and our cove goes dry around 1012 ft msl. ***

The Hideaway Cove of Lake Buchanan, aka "the Cove", is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath house with a game room and a pool.

HIGHLIGHTS:

* Waterfront
* Kayak/Canoe/SUPs available
* Pool (Unheated)
* Game room
* Sleeps up to 6 adults or 4 adults + 6 kids
* Spacious living + dining
* Coffer bar with various brewing options
* A winery and a food truck nearby

DISCLOSURES:

* No WiFi -- There is no good Internet service in this remote area that we can make it work so we had set up the place for the guests to unplug, enjoy the nature and reconnect with family and friends. Cellphones do work but could be spotty depending on your provider.

* Use of pool, paddle craft, fire pit, and grill carries risk that may result in serious injury or death, and unsupervised use by children is prohibited.

* We highly recommend to wear closed toe shoes at all times while outside due to risks and dangers inherent to the terrain including but not limited to the lake itself, snakes, fire ants, scorpions, bees, wasps and other dangerous insects or wildlife that may be on or around the property.

* Country life inevitably comes with lots of small bugs too. We do clean as best as possible, but it is highly likely that you will see gnats, spiders and other insects at the front porch and back patio. For those that sneak inside through open doors, the house is equipped with two "bug getter" vacuums.

* No boat ramps in the backyard or in the neighborhood. Public boat ramps nearby are located at the Cedar Point Recreation Area (10 minute drive) and the Llano County Park (20 minute drive).

* Well trained pets are welcome -- Please keep them on leash outside as there is no fence around the property. Also, please keep them off the furniture and clean up after them. The owners are responsible for any damages caused by the pets.

* Lake Buchanan is not a constant level lake, therefore the water level might be down.

* The fire pit might be unavailable when the burn ban is in effect.

* You will mostly likely hear neighbors' dogs bark but they tend to calm down after a while.

* Our next door neighbor's house is unoccupied and run-down. There is no fence between us but please keep away from their property, including the yard.

* We don't have fishing poles -- Don't forget to bring your own!

DETAILS:

* Bedrooms -- Two king-size beds, a sofa bed, two triple bunk beds (six twins; middle and top bunks are for kids only), two queen-size air mattresses, infant pack n' play.

* Living room -- Comfortable U-shape couch and two chairs. Stacking rock toy and various board games. DirecTV service is available, and we also offer a list of movies for the guests to enjoy.

* Dining room -- Large custom made dining table with seating for 8.

* Game room & garage -- Ping pong table, giant connect 4 game, chalk board, books, arcade game console, two swing chairs.

* Pool -- Unheated and may be closed during cold months.

* Kitchen -- Coffee/tea bar, full kitchenware and utensils for cooking and dining-in.

* Laundry room -- Washer, dryer, laundry detergent, iron, and iron board.

* Kayaks/Canoes/SUPs -- We ask all the guests to use them respectfully, and to clean and store them before check out. Guests are responsible for any damages or loss of items. We would appreciate your honesty to let us know if any damages occur so we can fix/replace them for next guests.

* Outdoor area -- Fire pit, park-style BBQ grill, 8 Adirondack chairs. Please use them responsibly and clean up after using.
