Rockhill Mill is situated within the grounds of a working farm. Rockhill Mill is an idyllic getaway and a perfect way to spend a romantic break away in the countryside, it is ideal for families or couples. There is parking free of charge. There are no restrictions on what time you come in at night, you can relax without anyone bothering you. The farm is a working farm with sheep and cattle, it can be quite muddy so you will need to bring your wellies.

Guest access
We will ring you on the morning of your stay to ask an approximate time of arrival. There will be someone here to greet you and give you the key for the Water Mill. You will be left to enjoy your stay without anyone bothering you however there will be someone available if you need anything. A list of contact numbers will be in the Mill if you need them.

Other things to note
We recommended bringing your wellies because it can sometimes get quite muddy. If you are bringing your dog we ask if you could keep it on a lead if there are sheep or cows in the fields, otherwise it is fine to let it off the lead to run around. Also, if there are sheep in the fields can you please shut the gates behind you when you are passing through so they do not escape. From the beginning of April lambing season begins so you will possibly get to see lambs being born. We often have baby lambs that are being bottle fed and we invite you to help bottle feed as this is something the children and adults both enjoy! It is a working farm so it is quite common to see the sheep being moved from field to field. The farm has been in the family for many years and you will see Chris the farmer and his daughter Maisie around and about the farm. There are contact numbers in the Mill for them if you need any help with anything.
