Stay in this farmer’s hut in the open air and check out the elephants that come graze nearby on a regular basis. For the real adventurers among us.
Price is per two beds and there are eight beds available.
Imagine having to dig a moat and surround your farm with electric wire to protect your crops against a group of 20 elephants that come check out your garden on a daily basis. Now imagine sleeping, cooking and dining in an open hut in that garden and you’ve got a pretty good idea of what Bandara’s is all about. This place is not for the faint hearted. But it’s got a proper toilet though!

Neverbeen offers a wide variety of rare homes off the beaten track, from fisherman's huts and tree houses to heritage homes and tea estates. Our team hand-picks and visits every home and meet all hosts to make ensure guests have a positively memorable stay in places they've never been.
We provide travellers and home owners in challenging locations with access to one another, by offering communication services, online marketing services and tourism training, so that locals can make a living off their home and travellers can get to stay in places they have never been.
As such, Neverbeen works for a world in which everyone has the chance to earn income by renting out their home, regardless of language, internet access and tourism experience.
In Sri Lanka, Dishan manages our growing group of homes in cooperation with our scouts, while Rohan creates listings and provides service. In Amsterdam, Marten works out international growth plans. Our team of in-house programmers is constantly developing the platform itself and Ernst & Young does our finances.
The first country we're active in is Sri Lanka, a beautiful country with many undiscovered places to stay. Due to it recently having opened up to tourism after decades of conflict, it is a great place to start and pilot the Neverbeen concept. We plan to expand to ten countries before the end of 2017.
