Quaint cottage-style home in the heart of Woodstock! Walking distance from the square, experience all the joys this town has to offer. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning sun on the back porch, or grab a drink at one of the local eateries. There is a living room, a full kitchen, full bath, bedroom, and office space. The backyard has a patio, fire pit, and space to stretch your legs. Some would say, this house is quite pleasant!

The space
My home is a historic Sears catalog home located blocks away from the Woodstock square. It’s perfect for those looking from a retreat from the city, or a place to stay while popping into town.
I have a queen bed in a sizable room, a single bathroom, and an office with a standing desk. Maybe this could be your writers retreat?
The back of the house is easy facing, so morning coffees are best enjoyed in the kitchen/dining room or outside on the patio.
I have a lot of plants throughout the house and they won’t need watering during your stay, maybe just a few positive words to help them grow :)
The living room is perfect for relaxing and reading, I don’t have a TV but I do have wifi so you can stream on your laptop.
The basement and garage will not be accessible.
Lastly, I ask that you enjoy my space and treat it like your own! This home has brought me so much joy and I’m grateful to share it with you.

Where you’ll be

Woodstock, Illinois, United States

I’m a few blocks away from the Historic Woodstock Square! We have farmers markets on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8-1 pm with the best produce and food the Midwest has to offer during the summer and fall months.
There is often live music at any of the local bars during the summer times. Check out the guide book for my favorite places to grab a bite to eat and a drink to drink. We also have a few parks that are delightful for time outside to move your body and connect with nature.
