Phil's Cottage is a beautiful one bedroom stone cottage with stunning countryside views. The cottage is a recently refurbished barn conversion ideally located just 2 miles from the historic market town of Barnard Castle. The property offers plenty of private parking, and outdoor seating area to the front and pretty courtyard to the rear with outdoor seating .

Dogs are subject to an additional £25 per stay. Maximum one fully house trained well behaved adult dog by prior permission from owners.

The space
Phil's Cottage is a self contained one bedroom barn conversion next to the main farm house. The property is two story. The ground floor is open plan and comprises of a well equipped kitchen, dining area, log burner and lounge area with a television. The upper level offers an en-suite and bedroom with a super king sized bed .The en-suite has both bath and shower facilities.

Stepping outside, you can relax in the garden area over looking the fields or in the pretty courtyard to the rear of the cottage. We have an identical cottage which shares the courtyard area. We have a barbecue which is available on request. You are also invited to share and explore the 25 acres of surrounding land which are home to the owners' chickens, sheep and horses. We also have a beautiful pond which attracts a range of wildlife. It is a short walk from the cottage and is a lovely peaceful area to relax. We do not allow car charging on site but there are some locally

One well behaved, fully housetrained, up to medium sized dog allowed by prior notification and understanding owners follow the house rules. . Dogs are strictly not allowed on furniture and must not be left in cottage alone
The cottage is fully heated by electric radiators. There is a stove but we do not provide logs but they can be purchased nearby.
