We truly enjoyed our stay. The apartment is exactly as advertised and even larger in terms of space. The location is spectacular and the host even better. They have gone above and beyond to make our 3 month stay comfortable and great people overall ...

I stayed at Wendy's place for three months during a work trip and had a great experience. The place is exactly as described. Three things I especially liked: It's bright, the mattress is very comfortable, and it's one of the few condos in the building with a balcony. Possibly the best part about the place is the host. Wendy was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Communication was a breeze, she was incredibly friendly and helpful when it came to making unexpected changes to our reservation, and it was a pleasure to spend a bit of time and get to know her during our stay. All in all highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Wendy and Matthew's place in Adams Morgan. The apartment is in an ideal location, close to restaurants, shops, and bars as well as public transportation (buses and the subway). The neighborhood is also very walkable, you can easily get to Georgetown, DuPont Circle, Columbia Heights and other areas by foot. The apartment itself is beautiful and spacious with all of the comforts you need. We stayed for over three months and truly felt like it was home. Wendy and Matthew are also fantastic hosts, responsive, friendly, and accommodating. We were sad to leave and definitely look forward to staying there again!

I stayed at Wendy's apartment for several months in the summer while interning near Dupont Circle. Everything was wonderful, and far better than I could have expected! The couches and bed are incredibly comfortable, the air conditioning and fans work perfectly, and the apartment is stunning. I was able to walk to work every day (about 15 minute walk to Dupont and then a 10 minute walk beyond that to the corner of 16th and P streets), but the bus proved very convenient for rainy or particularly hot days. The apartment was very well-stocked; we loved the espresso machine and tea selection, as well as spices for cooking. The kitchen had all the utensils and plates/bowls/cups/glasses/mugs we needed. Wendy as a host went above and beyond to make me and my boyfriend feel welcome. She was always available to help immediately with any problem that we might have had (although we didn't encounter any!). I wish I could live in that beautiful apartment forever. And I'm looking forward to visiting Wendy and Matthew again to continue getting to know them. I highly, highly recommend staying in this apartment, and getting to know Wendy and Matthew as well.

A+++ Airbnb experience! Bright, clean, quiet apartment in a great neighborhood. Very comfortable bed. And a balcony! I could not have been more at home and comfortable during my stay. Easy access to everything you could want, by foot, transit or Uber. Wendy and Matthew are exceptional hosts. As someone who travels frequently for my work, I truly appreciate their thoughtfulness and attention to every possible travel need when appointing this excellent apartment. If you are coming to DC, this is your place!

Logistics for securing place was a breeze and Wendy provided excellent information about location, neighborhood, and how to get around. No need to get a car, very convenient. Place was just as listed and we loved the comfort and funkiness of it.

Born in DC and migrated back here. Always new places to discover in this walkable and bike-friendly city. Matthew and I are infomaniacs with an emphasis on ordinary folks -- including those not yet of voting age -- to access and influence local and federal government. Let us know your interests and we'll toss out some sources, advocacy organizations, etc.
