Our signature Living Skies Private Suite features all the comfort of your own cabin with luxury and style. With your own private entrance, amenities, and dining area – sleep up to four. Relax in your deep soaker tub before a restful sleep on your plush queen bed. Join us for breakfast under the cascading ceilings, or enjoy your privacy in your private retreat.

The space
The suite is designed to be private and provide that cozy cabin atmosphere you will find throughout the rest of our home. With all the modern amenities provided for your stay!

Guest access
Primary access for the suite can be found on the North side of our garage. You will see the large log staircase leading up to your private outdoor access.

*If you wish to say hello upon arrival, you are welcome to come in through our home's front door and we can show you to the suite via our main home.*

During your stay
The beauty of the private suite is the ability to come and go on your time, as you please, with as much or as little interaction with us as you like.
We love to say hello and be able to meet the guests we host (and any of their furry, 4 legged family members along for the journey) but respect the need for peace and quiet, which we hope you will find during your stay!

Other things to note
Our B&B home is located on 35 acres of private land.
We do our best to keep a walking trail groomed around our entire property to be enjoyed by anyone wanting some fresh air.
Family and Furry friends are welcome to tour the 35 acres, swim in a dug out or simply sit an enjoy the sunset.
We have direct access to our local airport for any pilot enthusiasts who wish to fly in to our location.
We also run a dog boarding facility "Second Family Dog Lodge" on site, but trust you wont have any noise problems from either of these bonus features during your stay!

Neighbourhood highlights

We are located 1/2 mile west of the Town of Carlyle on highway 13 on a well treed acreage. We operate A Second Family Dog Lodge west of our home , run a hobby apiary and have our local airport north of our property to watch small aircraft come and go! We keep a skating rink on our pond in the winter and have walking paths around our acreage in the summer.

Livings Skies Lodge is the first log home BnB in Southeast Saskatchewan and Only On airport(CJQ3) BnB in Western Canada. A must stop for general aviation travellers! We built our dream log home in 2019 to share the relaxing comfort of this working acreage lifestyle. A scenic 20 minute drive to Moose Mountain provincial park, our outdoor playground. Come enjoy our hospitality!
