Location is just in front of tram stops and there are many cafes & restaurants around. Very convenient. The room is clean and the view is amazing! It has everything you need (towels, shampoo, hairdryer, etc) Was allowed early check in and late check out which was super helpful to us as we do not have to rush. Highly recommend this place to stay if anyone is visiting Melbourne!

Linton's lovely apartment gave me a fantastic view of the batman park and the great skylines of Melbourne. This place was close to everything you need: 2 min walk to a tram station; south cross station was kind of across the street; a 7-eleven right next to the building. Linton was also a great host. He was a nice guy and the communication before and during my stay was also polite and clear. If I would have another choice of visiting Melbourne in the near future, there is no doubt that I would love to stay at this place again.

Clean and tidy and well equip. Good location for me to go to the Melbourne Exhibition Center. Only draw back is the noise from the train for some people. By closing the glass door I did not woke up by the train for my one week stay.

This was a great apartment with some pretty killer views over the Yarra River and Southbank skyline. The apartment was very consistent with the photos and description. It was a comfortable space which was clean and modern. I didn't find the trains too noisy as some people indicated. The blinds in the kitchen and the sliding door separating the kitchen from the living space sufficiently cut out light and sound for bed time. I found the bed and linen specifically comfortable and slept like a baby. Though I walked everywhere, this location is very close to public transport. There is a tram stop directly out the front door and Southern Cross station is 5 minutes walk away (this is beneficial as they have luggage storage and airport transfers). There is also a 7-Eleven next door to get a myki for your public transport needs. It is a short walk into the heart of the city. Whilst there are the bulk of bars and restaurants on the other end of Flinders, there are still heaps of cool little places nearby. I recommend walking through the lanes and seeing what you stumble upon. All in all, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay at River on my next trip.
