Oak lodge is set in rural Aberdeenshire and sleeps2 people. Consists of a well equipped kitchen/dining/living space, king size bedroom and modern shower room. Oak lodge has all of the modern comforts of electricity, heating and hot water, making it far more luxurious than your typical shepherd hut. Oak lodge also has its own private parking area and outdoor seating area and is not overlooked. Dogs welcome with no limit

The space
Oak lodge is set in our idyllic private forest and is peaceful and quiet. We have the most fabulous views of the rolling countryside and there are endless walks and places of interest to visit in the local area including the beautiful National Trust property, Haddo House (1.8 miles away). We are also 10 minutes from the world famous Brewdog HQ with fantastic bar and restaurant on site. We are only 20 minutes from stunning dog friendly beaches and are in close proximity to Scotland’s Castle Trail which is a collection of thirteen of the worlds most unique castles, the nearest being just down the road and all within a short drive. Our particular favourites on the trail are Haddo House (5 mins away) and Fyvie Castle (15 mins away).

Guest access
The shepherds hut is situated in the forest and has its own parking area and outdoor seating area, this is the only area to be accessed by guests.

Our home is approx 100 yards away and is not accessible for guests.

Other things to note
There are strictly no smoking, BBQs or camp/bonfires allowed anywhere on the property due to the high risk of serious woodland fire. This rule is in place to keep you, the wildlife and our property safe. By making a booking, you are agreeing to this term.
