This cabin is nestled into a private patch of Mississippi Pine Forest on the 111 acres of land that we call The Burrow. Hiking paths, a swimming pond, and the DeSoto National Forest are all a short walk away. The cabin is primitive but has a full off-grid kitchen setup including propane two-burner stove, dishware, and water dispenser, solar lanterns, a power strip for charging phones (appliances up to 7 amps) and a composting toilet about 10 yards away. Makes for the perfect cozy little getaway!

We care deeply about the many vibrant ecosystems on the land that we steward. We have many lovely walking paths (definitely don't miss the Lichen Grove!) and a swimming pond. The property also butts up to the DeSoto National Forest.

Jordan and I are New Orleans natives who have shifted to living full-time on our 111-acre retreat and education center in Mississippi. Jordan hosts workshops on urban farming/foraging/DIY homesteading both in the city and at The Burrow. I work as a dreamwork practitioner at a local alternative wellness collective called Libre Wellness. We are excited to offer the space as a way to bring you into closer relationship with the Earth. We are also happy to point you in the direction of any urban farming and/or alternative healing interests you may have!
