Where you’ll be

Qasr El Nil, Cairo Governorate, Egypt

Our flat is located centrally in the Garden City of Cairo. It is a wealthy residential district in Central Cairo that spans the east side of the Nile just south of downtown. It is the location of the famous Midan Tahrir. Known for its quiet, upscale, and secure atmosphere, the Garden City is a major destination for wealthy tourists. The United States, British, and Italian Embassies are all located here.

The building is in a peaceful and quiet area surrounded with authentic and traditional old buildings, close to the Egyptian museum and Kasr El Nile bridge, where you can have amazing views of the River Nile and Cairo Tower.

Cairo is a place rich in culture especially in Downtown. We would highly recommend these places to visit during your stay in Cairo:

Culture Wheel by the Nile: there is always various music concerts being held here. It is a 30 minute walk by the River or a 10 minutes ride in a taxi.
Kayaking: You can enjoy an hour long Kayak experience in the Island for about 10$
Cycling: Cairo is a crazy city in many ways, but we love to cycle around. We have an extra bike if you would like to borrow one during your stay.
Felucca Riding: you can walk for 10mins till you reach the river and you rent a felucca for about 13$ for an hour and enjoy the Nile.
Sunset Walking: The Garden city has a lot of beautiful traditional buildings and green areas. You can enjoy a nice walk around in the evenings.
Room art space: close to our flat, you can experience live concerts or if you want to try a very traditional one, you could go to the Makany culture centre. It is open every Wednesday and Tuesday.
Bars and clubs: there are only a few in the Garden city but you can find more of them in Zamalek, which is a 10 minute taxi ride.
Opera house: Another live concert centre with a variety of concerts and theatre.

Hello there! I am Yuci! I am a person who loves nature much more than anything that's why I decided to open a secondhand shop to help the environment and also enjoy shopping with less money :) Also, I appreciate a lot of art and music so all my flats are full of art and antiques! I love cycling and I cycle a lot around Cairo and Dahab and planning to do a long trip From Cairo to Capetown one day! Right now I live between Cairo and Dahab, in Cairo in the Central of Cairo in a beautiful district called Garden city close to the Nile River, Its is the most greeny place in the heart of Cairo and you can go around by walking, public transportation, metro, or taxi or uber of course. My 2 flats is an old high ceiling building, the district it's very old and green which is something not famous in Cairo, it's also calm and close to most of the history and cultural places. Our flats in Dahab in central of the city in Lighthouse, 5 min from the sea and have a beautiful sunny garden :) and another one in Assla 2 second to the sea I love Airbnb much because I believe it's a beautiful way to know people from different countries and spend a fantastic night with them so you are much welcome at any of our homes in Cairo and Dahab anytime :)
