Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Quiet little historic town. NC’s first port, NC’s oldest church, favored port of the notorious Edward Teach, aka Blackbeard the Pirate.
The Bath House has everything you need to enjoy your stay. Come enjoy eastern NC hospitality.

The space
Our two story house is heated/cooled by gas pac downstairs and heat pump upstairs. Two bedrooms and full bath are upstairs. One bedroom and full bath are downstairs. All baths have a walk in/step in shower, no tubs. A den and kitchen/dining rooms are also downstairs.
Double sliding doors lead out of the kitchen/dining area onto the large deck. Enjoy morning coffee in the breakfast nook or on the deck while overlooking the water of Bath Creek.
There are two deep water docks for your boat, one with a lift, whether you arrive by car pulling your boat or by motor yacht or sailing yacht. There is a ramp for trailering your boat nearby at the Quarterdeck.

Please note ... Because of our furnishings and accessories, we prefer that you be an established adult or an adult with family (well-mannered children). We prefer to not allow those with pets and those young adults who are still reliant upon their parents for support, without fully understanding the reality of what it takes to appreciate what others have worked so hard for.

It is our utmost desire to provide you with a place that you will admire and want to revisit in a location that is tranquil where you get away from the stress of every day life and challenges.

The quiet street/town is a great place to walk, jog, ride your bike. The historic Marsh-Palmer Home, the Bonner House, and St. Thomas Episcopal Church (the oldest church in NC) are steps away. The Bath House is the 4th house down from Bonner Point.

During your stay
We live in Washington, NC which is only 20 minutes away via automobile.
You may see me during your visit. I use the shop house for projects I work on and I dock my fishing and my pleasure boat at my dock and use them frequently.
And I’m close by to make sure all is well should something come up that might make your stay more enjoyable.
I don’t close, I just doze.
