The space
Welcome to Casita de Arrebol, a unique New Mexico experience for solitude, sunsets, and starry nights!  The space is thoughtfully designed for a relaxing retreat to slow down and reconnect with nature.

The casita is an eco-friendly straw bale constructed home that radiates with a simple, natural beauty.  It features heated concrete floors, a bright living space with exposed wood beam ceilings, and multiple outdoor living areas. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, the casita works well for a group of friends, two couples, or small families.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a Ratio coffeemaker, Baratza coffee grinder, Fellow water kettle, dishwasher, toaster, Aarke water carbonator, handmade dinnerware and table linens, and all the pots, pans, and bakeware you need (we love to cook and have thought of everything you could need!).

The bedrooms have brand new mattresses with luxurious down mattress toppers and duvets, 100% linen duvet covers, and sheets. The master bathroom has been stylishly renovated with a gorgeous travertine walk-in shower, handmade vanity with a beautiful stone sink. Bathrooms have Aveda shampoo and conditioner, custom Abiquiu Soapworks soap, and plush Turkish towels.

The casita is situated on 52 acres between the Rito Encino and the cottonwood-lined Rio Puerco (both of which only run seasonally) and is about a 10-minute drive to Abiquiu Lake, and 20 minutes to Abiquiu or Ghost Ranch, and just over an hour to Santa Fe. Countless recreational activities such as hiking, paddling, river rafting, fishing, and mountain biking are all nearby.

We love this place, and we know you will too. We look forward to hearing about all of your adventures! #arrebolcasita
