The villa worthy of preservation is from the colonial era and is located on Teleøen with a fantastic view of Paaraarsuk, the sea and the town's landmark Nasaasaaq / Kællingehætten. The villa is located on the mountain a few meters from the water and is on two floors. For the villa there is an enclosed garden for free use.

What was originally an Inuit winter camp is now home to modern telecommunications equipment (hence the name Teleøen) - however, there are still plenty of visible archeological relics. Take a trip and learn more about the Inuit way of life before European colonization, and also hear about the early colonization and the recent history of the area.
