Some info has been automatically translated.
The cottage has a living area of approximately 75m2 and is nicely. There is a spacious garden around the house of approximately 600 m2. The cottage has 2 bedrooms, 1 with an electrically adjustable 2-person box spring bed, the other with a bunk bed. In the living room, there is a unique clay stove. There is a shower with toilet and a living room with open kitchen with fridge, freezer, microwave, induction cooker and Nespresso machine. Furthermore, there is WiFi and TV and a covered terrace with furniture.

The space
The full wooden construction of the cottage creates a very cozy atmosphere. This is further enhanced by the unique clay stove. Here you can enjoy nature in peace, close by in the garden or a little further on the Veluwe. The host's garden is full of fruit trees, and when the season is there, you can pick your own fruit. The location of the house is completely free and offers a lot of privacy, especially in the summer when everything is green.

Guest access
It is possible to travel by public transport/Bus to Doesburg or by NS to Dieren. If possible, we will pick you up for free from the nearby station!

Other things to note
Especially for our guests with (young) children, it is nice to know that in the garden, in addition to a large trampoline, a swing (also for the very little ones) and go-karts are also available. We also have 3 bicycles, 1 of which is a cargo bike and a bicycle with child seats.

In addition, we have a cupboard hidden behind the unique clay stove with many (!) games, for young and old. Also, very nostalgically, a DVD movie from the available collection can be watched.

Since this year, we are legally obliged to mention the energy label on this site. The accommodation technically has the label A, but since the accommodation does not have its own address, the energy label of our own house applies legally. This is still category G.

Where you’ll be

Doesburg, Gelderland, Netherlands

The house is very special: Along the old course of the IJssel on the dike. Here you can cross the dike in 5 minutes by bike to the picturesque center of Doesburg (city rights in 1237) or to the smallest town in the Netherlands: Bronckhorst (20min.). The bike path in front of the house is part of the long-distance route LF3A/B and is an ideal starting point for beautiful walks or bike rides. The Veluwezoom with the Posbank as the most famous vantage point is a 15-minute drive away and offers unprecedented opportunities to enjoy nature. Here you can still spot wildlife such as deer, pigs and ties. Many visitors from especially the west of the country, discover from our cottage the Achterhoek, so the café of Normal is within cycling distance and many also discover Montferland, where it is much quieter than on the Veluwe. Also the highest waterfall of Holland in Eerbeek/Loenen is only 20min. to find. In short, enough possibilities to discover this unique piece of Holland.
