Our favourite room for solo or couple guests. You will access the ground floor unit through your patio and walk into your double bedroom and onward to your living area, DSTV, kitchenette and bathroom/shower. Complementary coffee and tea is provided. The grounds are spacious, green and quiet. Our pool is ready and waiting with lounge chairs and tables. We are located in the village but we are near the mountains (Bains Kloof) and many of the famous wine farms. Includes secure parking.

The space
The unit is essentially a studio apartment. The doors open to a lovely patio with your own table and chairs overlooking the manicured backyard. Closet space is provided and there you will find his and her Villa Foxen robes and slippers fresh and clean. Your TV set with remotes is at the base of the bed. There is a ceiling fan to compliment the unit’s electric heater and cooler. The bathroom adjoins the kitchen. Overall, a well set-up unit for one or two persons.

Where you’ll be

Wellington, Western Cape, South Africa

Our address is 1A Murray Street which is part of "Old Wellington" an area with large plots and historic houses. The location is within the village and our lightly trafficked street is quiet, safe and residential. Kids play out front and fellow residents walk by with friendly greetings. Many of the neighbours speak Afrikaans as a first language, as is the case at our home (Tanya is the Afrikaans speaker).

My wife, Tanya, and I are happy to host your stay in Wellington, South Africa. Tanya was born in this area and speaks perfect Afrikaans and English. I am the American in the crowd and just speak English. We have two young children, Thomas, 4 and Taylor 2, which is explains why we are so kid-friendly. We have been hosting guests for almost 2 years now but only recently set up on Air BnB.
