Location

Terrington, England, United Kingdom

The cottage is on a country road just outside the outside the pretty heritage village of Terrington, 17 miles from York. It sits in an elevated position amongst the Howardian Hills, with far-reaching views across the timeless, beautiful landscape of North Yorkshire. To the south is the historical city of York, the seaside towns of Scarborough and Whitby lie to the east and the North Yorkshire Moors are easily accessible. Castle Howard is a 10 minutes away and the award-winning Yorkshire Lavender is a short walk.

The cottage lies in a small grouping of buildings (manor house, farm and the 4 cottages) a 2 min drive or a 10 minute walk outside of Terrington. It has easy access to York (via Sheriff Hutton) avoiding the busy A64. It is almost equi-distant to the charming market towns of Malton, Helmsley and Easingwold and picture postcard villages with lively pubs, great eating and fantastic walks lie in all directions. The Howardian Hills are recognised as a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the stunning views from the cottage will certainly show you why!

A car is recommended.
