Extra spacious
Guests love this home’s spaciousness for a comfortable stay.
Pine Reeve Cabin began as a humble 24’ x 24’ hunting shack. With vision, dedication, and time, it has been artfully transformed into the peaceful retreat it is today. Tucked among pines and quiet woodland, it invites you to slow down and breathe in the fresh air. Weathered wood, natural textures, and warm details give the cabin its rustic charm, while cozy comforts create a welcoming atmosphere. Here, rustic blends seamlessly with modern, offering the perfect balance to find rest and relaxation.
The space
The open-concept design creates a bright, spacious atmosphere that invites you to relax while staying connected to the beauty outdoors. The back room is surrounded by mature forest, offering panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides. Watch deer, birds, and other wildlife wander by from the comfort of your chair, or simply enjoy the peaceful woodland setting. Blurring the line between indoors and out, a living tree grows right through the center of the room, making nature an unforgettable part of the cabin experience.
Other things to note
We are nestled right in the heart of Amish country. As you explore the area, you may see horse-drawn buggies rolling along the roads and Amish families going about their day. Their lives often center on family, faith, farming, and craftsmanship, and each day is shaped by close-knit community ties and a deep respect for tradition. Visitors are always welcome to offer a friendly greeting, as the Amish are known for their warmth and hospitality. At the same time, please be mindful of their privacy and avoid taking photos, since they prefer not to have their pictures taken.
A few other things to keep in mind:
● The water is safe to drink, but it is very hard, so we recommend bringing your own drinking water.
● In winter, knowing how to start and keep a fire going is essential as it will help keep you warm.
● Please follow the house rules, including not bringing pets, extra guests, or hosting parties, as violations will result in fines.
● The propane fireplace provides extra heat in winter only. Propane will not be refilled during the warmer months.
