Great location

Relax and "get your Zen on" in this beautiful carriage house studio apartment in the heart of Virginia wine and horse country. Catch a romantic sunset at the pool and then star gaze from your own private balcony. This superbly decorated apartment is convenient to numerous wineries, hiking, fox hunting, and caverns. Amenities include wifi, washer/dryer, and swimming pool. Fenced paddocks available if you plan to fox hunt with any one of the numerous local hunts. Located in ODH territory.

The space
This is a beautifully decorated and fully equipped studio apartment above a detached garage. The whisper-quiet mini-split air conditioner will keep you cool in the summer, while baseboard heat is toasty on cooler days. We have real wifi but no cell service, so you will need to enable wifi calling on your phone to make/receive calls. Small dogs are welcome with pre-approval and a $20 additional cleaning fee. If you would like to bring your horses, we have a small barn with 3 stalls and hot and cold water. If you prefer field board for your horses, there is a large paddock with a run-in shed or several smaller paddocks with shade. Stall board is $15/night/horse, while field board is $10/night/horse (fees will be applied separately)

Where you’ll be

Amissville, Virginia, United States

"Farmalot" is a 23+ acre farmette located off a gravel road northwest of Warrenton. There are numerous wineries in the area as well as 10 hunts within a 1.5 hour drive. Pick-your-own orchards abound. If you are allergic to animals, you may want to reconsider, as we cannot guarantee a fur-and-dander-free environment. We have a resident flock of semi-tame geese, a dog , lots of cats, two donkeys, and a horse. Oh, and stink bugs. Yes, we have those, too. 40 minutes to Middleburg or Upperville, 25 minutes to Warrenton, 1+15 to Washington DC.
