Where you’ll be

El Pinós, Comunidad Valenciana, Spain

Please note on the addressdoes NOT get you to the house. You will need to download the app What3words and input and then search for house using your SatNav app to the house. The house is on a hill overlooking the town, two minuits by car to the center. Pinoso is 90 km from the nearest beach.

Please also note there is English TV only.

Pinoso is a small rural town and 10 year was said to be the fifth richest in Spain because much of its wealth has come from “Marble Mountain”. This wealth is not obvious!!!
On the border between the provinces of Alicante and Murcia the small traditional town of Pinoso is located in mountainous countryside about 450 meters above sea level. Pinoso has a population of just over 7,000 (2006) and a municipal area of around 126km2, formerly a purely agricultural town it is now attracting the attention of foreign buyers as an ideal location for a holiday home away from the hustle and bustle of the busy coastline resorts.

Places to Eat
There are many restaurants and services in the town center and in the countryside.

The Spanish eat their main meal at lunch time i.e. from 2pm and many restaurants serve “Menu del dia”. They do not eat out in the evening until 9/10pm or even 12 midnight!
Lothermans, La Torre and many others, are typically Spanish that also serve tapas and are in the town mostly along the main streets. There are also “English” alternatives such as Papas in town by the market square and The Manor House (El Cortijo) going towards Yecla turn off at Paredon signpost and La Casita which is on the main road to Monovar on the right going from Pinoso
