Studio space with a private entrance located on the quiet eastern end of our house. Twelve foot window provides spectacular views of Bird Mountain, & Killington, Pico
Castleton is located in a great central location which acts as a great launching point for Lake Bomoseen , Killington / Pico Resort , or exploring the state

The space
Located in a quiet area just past the university, it is surrounded by nature yet only 2 miles from downtown.
The studio space is about 500 sq ft and it has it's own private entrance. It includes a living room with Dish / Roku / Smart TV, a private bathroom with walk in shower (no tub), a private closet, & a Queen Sized Bed. Though there is not a full kitchen, a Coffee/ Tea Station is provided with an electric Kettle & a mini fridge and a small microwave.
The space is heated by a pellet stove during winter months
Light fills the space - there is a sky light and a picture window to enjoy the mountain scenery. Have coffee on your balcony or take a walk down to the pond before or after heading out on your adventure to the mountains or the lakes-
There is a 2 PERSON MAXIMUM for the space

When you arrive there is parking right near the steps for your private entrance.
Feel free to roam our grounds - best route is to follow the driveway towards the pond

Other things to note
We live at the top of a hill -Drive carefully. You will pass horses who sometimes wander beyond their stalls and we have 3 dogs who may greet you
To enter the studio space, you must walk up an outdoor flight of stairs. The space is located on the second floor.
The space is connected to our house so it is not free standing - We live on the other side of the house.
Only guests & pets included in reservation are allowed. There is a 2 PERSON maximum.
Please mention pets at Reservation -YOU MUST REQUEST FOR YOUR PET TO STAY as part of your reservation when making contact. Pets cannot be added on later or brought without permission. Thank you ;)
Please note that the studio is heated by a pellet stove - the house info gives detailed information about it if you are not familiar with this type of stove.
We appreciate an estimated time of arrival so that we can comfortably prepare the warmth & coolness for you
SNOW SEASON
We live on top of a hill that goes straight up- AWD cars have had no problems climbing our hill in the snow - cars with snow tires are golden too, we will be sure to share road conditions

Castleton is a University town with a nice downtown that includes an authentique silk city diner & a great Village Store + We are located in the Pond hill area of Castleton which is known for it's Rodeo . Rodeos are held every Saturday night thru the Summer
The studio is located on 10 acres of land on a quiet private road
We are 10 minutes from Lake Bomoseen and the lakes District - There are multiple lakes to swim, kayak, and play in - boat rentals are nearby.
Killington / Pico skiing is 35 minutes away.
Castleton also makes for a great starting point to explore the state due to it's central location.
