In the heart of the Northern Norwegian coast, amid beautiful islands and mountains, lies my paradise on earth: my old family's house from 1873 with its picturesque garden. The house has been recently renovated, but maintains its historical charm.

The space
This is a historical house on the beautiful Island Seløy on the Helgeland Coast in Northern Norway. The house has been in my family since it was moved to the Island in 1873, and me and my family now use it as a vacation retreat. The nature is stunning, with endless hiking opportunities, mountains to climb, and fish to be caught at the sea. The Island itself has two restaurants and one grocery shop, all in easy walking distance from the house.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house and the garden.

Location

Herøy, Nordland, Norway

This is Northern Norway at its best. A small community with 150 inhabitants on an island outside the city of Sandnessjøen. Climb to the top of the Dønnamann mountain and experience midnight sun, walk down to the local fish landing pier and get the fresh catch of the day (Halibut, cod+++), take a bike and explore the beautiful green meadows and the nearby beaches, listen to the silence and feel the power of mother nature on a rainy and windy day.
