Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Glanydon vegan-friendly B&B is at the centre of the friendly little village of Corris, nestling in the foothills of Snowdonia. Relax and unwind to the burbling of 'our' river.
We offer a wide range of breakfasts (see below), and can also provide packed lunches and freshly cooked evening meals. PLEASE TELL US OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES/INTOLERANCES WHEN YOU BOOK.
We have cats who are not allowed into guest areas, but if you are allergic, then maybe Glanydon is not ideal for you.

The space
We have one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a dedicated guest sitting/dining room.
The bedroom still has the original 1870s fireplace. It is furnished with lovingly restored vintage pieces from RESTORED as a well as a new bed with metal bedstead.
The guest sitting/dining room is furnished with mid-century Ercol furniture and a few well-chosen other pieces, including a cosy loveseat to 'cwtch' up on together. There are cards, games, DVDs and tourist info for guests' use and there is a portable DVD player.

Where you’ll be

Glanydon, Wales, United Kingdom

Glanydon is just a few metres from The Slaters, the local village pub, and the friendly Idris Stores, cafe and shop. We are also just across the road from Corris' own narrow gauge railway. There are many lovely local walks to be had round the village and it is a good area for cyclists.
Three miles down the road you will find the Centre for Alternative Technology and a five minute walk will get you to the Corris Craft Centre (can we recommend the free tasters at the Dyfi Distillery?!), Corris Mine Experience and King Arthur's Labyrinth.
The seaside towns of Aberdyfi, Tywyn, Borth, Barmouth and Aberystwyth are all within easy driving distance. Machynlleth, the site of Owain Glyndwr's senedd (parliament) building, is just 6 miles away and has a regular weekly market on Wednesdays.
Cadair Idris is just 5 miles away and Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) is also easily reached by road.
Some guests come for the Mach Loop, to catch a glimpse of the USAF and RAF planes on their training flights in the valleys.
