Kennel Farm lies within the Exmoor National Park on the banks of the River Barle, 1 mile from the beautiful town of Dulverton. The farmhouse has been sympathetically renovated, keeping the original features whilst offering modern comforts. Guests are invited to enjoy picnics, wild swimming and campfires on the river bank, and walk through the surrounding Arboretum and 17 acres of parkland. A place to totally switch off, surrounded by wildlife, outdoor activities and birdsong.

The space
The farmhouse boasts stunning views of the woodland cladded Barle valley. Seating areas in the conservatory, sitting room and the bedrooms are well positioned to take advantage of the picturesque Exmoor views. The sitting room window seat, perfect for a morning read, in full sunshine, offers a unique way to enjoy the stunning view and local wildlife. Decking to the front of the house attracts the best of the midday sun, and we welcome guests to enjoy campfires down by the river. The farmhouse also has a dedicated desk space in the sitting room. Upstairs are two generously spacious double rooms and a smaller room with a double bed and bunk bed. The modernised bathroom has new efficient heating and hot water systems.
Trout and Salmon fishing on some of the finest river water in the region is also available upon request.
