Enjoy San Miguel de Allende but prefer staying off the tourist trail while experiencing the country life of a Mexican Rancho. This is the place where you can stay for a short or long period.
This unique house, designed by an architect/landscape architect, is situated on a beautiful 11-acre property nestled among the hills of the extinct Volcano Picachos. Two bedrooms and an office space occupy the top floor. The Living/Dining/Kitchen on the ground floor opens to expansive views of the valley.

The space
This is a two-story house with a central space with double height. And a large skylight and glass door to the outside landscape. Custom-designed furniture, comfortable bedding, and a central fireplace. There is great internet and large office space with great views. A fully equipped kitchen and outdoor furniture for dining or relaxing. The living room becomes an outdoor space when the large glass door is open. Upstairs, there is a loft space with a king-size bed, including a walking closet that can be more private with the large curtains. We also offer periodically an extra bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom in a separate building next to the house for $42/night and $33 for final cleaning. (it has its separate access) . If you are looking for complete privacy, please inquire before booking; there is another rental house on the property.
There is a good level of privacy between the two. If you have pets,, please let us know beforehand. They are very welcome. There is a pet fee of $28 per pet (mascota) per stay. If your rental has a business purpose, please share all details before booking.

The house is located on a beautiful property, and guests can enjoy large, open outdoor spaces. The house is located in an area where there are other sparse houses with large properties. The local community and international permanent residents make this area friendly and safe.

PRACTICALITIES:

Vegetables, meats and drinks shops are a 5-7 minutes drive. A supermarket, hospital and cinema is a 15min drive from the house. San Miguel Centro is only 20-25 minutes away. There are excellent restaurants in the area within 5-10 min. drive or hiking 8Km. Juana or Margarita can cook traditional meals if ordered ahead.
