Great location
100% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Built in 1905, the beautiful Manson House has an apartment on each level. This lovely third floor apartment has 1 spacious bedroom, 1 bath and a very comfortable living room. It is located in Wausau’s East Hill National Historic District and is a short walk to restaurants, brew pubs, and the famous Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. The YMCA is close and there are many parks and outdoor activities nearby. Granite Peak ski area is only a 15 minute drive and Nine Mile trail is 20 minutes away.

The space
909 Franklin was built in 1905 as a single-family home for John & Helen Manson and was later converted into three separate apartments . John Manson was the son of early Wausau founders, a very successful businessman and one the city’s first elected Mayors.

The Manson House is located amongst the other beautiful homes of Wausau’s early business leaders and lumber barons. The three-story house was built to high craftsman standards of the times. In keeping with those high standards, one room has a king size bed and the other a queen size. Both feature high quality mattresses and linens, and two sets of pillows.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a full size oven and refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, pots, pans, utensils and other items you may need to prepare your own meals.

Enjoy a morning cup of coffee on the airy outdoor balcony or read your favorite book in the sunny alcove off the bedroom. At night, play board games or watch television in the comfortable living area.

Business travelers or digital nomads will be happy to know our apartment has Spectrum Internet service plan with maximum 400 Mbps and a work desk.
