Impeccable cabin with lush surroundings. Very secluded and peaceful, allowing you to really take in what Black Mountain has to offer. Opt for the onsite hike, and enjoy the fire pit. Thoughtful amenities and every utensil you need for the kitchen. Grocery store in close proximit…

We are very happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. We try our best to maintain cabins in new condition. My husband always jokes that the kitchen is better supplied in our cabin than our home. Yes, the 1.5 mile gravel road to the property may get bumpy. The road is graded regularly but weather conditions affect the road in between. The steepest part of the driveway down to the meadow area where the cabin and pond are located is actually paved. Two wheel drive vehicles are acceptable throughout the year except for snow conditions. The nature paradise is worth the trip!

The cabin is absolutely gorgeous! We had a wonderful time. We cooked dinner there almost every night and had all of the utensils we needed. The furniture was comfortable. The Decour was lovely. The views off the front porch were so pretty and relaxing. My kids loved the giant tir…

Yes, the mountains are a great getaway for all ages. Glad your family enjoyed the trip! The gravel road can get bumpy at times, but they are graded regularly. It sure beats driving in city and dealing with continuous traffic jams, and the end result is nature’s paradise!

Our family spent a week at the Preserve in July. We had a great time in the cabin, and our kids enjoyed walking the trails around the property and making s’mores at the campfire. There are many great trails within a short drive of the property. Our family did Linville Falls, Cata…

Glad you enjoyed the waterfalls in the area. We hope to host you again in the future to have the opportunity to see the many more waterfalls nearby. Thank you for your feedback on some minor maintenance items so we may address them promptly. We strive to maintain the cabins like new condition at all timese. Yes, gravel road is bumpy, but part of the ambiance of being in the woods. Two wheel drive vehicles are acceptable except in winter months in case of snow.

This cabin was a magical escape in the woods. We shared it with another family and had plenty of space for everyone. The property was an adventure in itself and our children enjoyed running and playing around the grounds all day on Easter. Plenty of space for multiple families…

We live in South Florida but have vacationed in NC for 20 years. We finally bought 10 acres and built 3 cabins only 20 minutes from Asheville. We try to get up to NC as much as possible, but when we are not there we rent our cabins to other families traveling to enjoy the beaut…
