The space

Minimal living can be so rewarding! Small, but cozy and quaint space with high ceiling and ample sunlight during the day. Apartment has A/C for those hot summer days. It's an East-meets-West style furnishings and decor.

Guest access

There is also an outdoor patio space in the back of the building with access to the back lane. Coin-operated washer and dryers on same floor.

Interaction with guests

Please respect our neighbours and keep the noise at a respectable level. We respect our guests' privacy and only attend the site when requested. However, guests staying more than 1 month may be subject to monthly cleaning and maintenance.

Other things to note

This bachelor has 2 rooms: the bedroom and kitchen. There is no living room space; therefore, there is no TV or cable. We encourage guests to explore the city and enjoy the ample entertainment nearby.

Another thing to note:
This building is situated on a busy commercial street that has a lot of activity going on. Not ideal for light sleepers or those who are seeking a tranquil setting.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
Due to our reasonable pricing and central location, this suite is often booked. Therefore, we have a strict cancelation policy in place. Please take the time to read the listing in full and reviews from past guests and contact us to ensure the booking is the right fit for you or your guest.

Absolutely no smoking in the suite. There is an outdoor patio in the back of the building!

The space is very small, so keeping things neat and tidy is preferred. If you make a mess, please clean it up!

Trash should be taken out about every other day (especially with organic wastes). This is a commercial area so leaving a large load of garbage inside the unit for an entire week is a major concern and risk to the sanitary health of the apartment and building.

We are also pet friendly. Please pick up after your pet. Pet must be house-trained. Best suited for small pets. Sorry, NO PETS allowed on the BED. Any signs of animal contact on the bed will result in the disposal of the bedding set and charged to the guest. (This is to ensure that the bedding and covers are not contaminated with pet hairs for future guests.)

ABSOLUTELY NO ILLEGAL DOWNLOADING OR STREAMING OR ALLOWED.

Important notice about our license:

This is a commercial building and operates within a hotel permit.

You have a right to expect privacy in your suite as long as you are using the room in a normal, responsible way. However, if you are engaging in anything illegal or disturbing other guests, your host can enter your suite without your permission.

Another exception to your right to privacy is for cleaning and maintenance. Management does have the right to enter your room to clean or perform necessary maintenance.

Thank you.

The apartment was exactly as pictured. Beware the warnings about the noise as sounds really do travel from the bar and activity on the street. Location is great.

Fantastic location, could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Lots of bars, shopping and entertainment close by. Leanne was amazing at getting back quickly if we had questions or concerns. Because it's over a bar needed ear plugs to sleep but other than that it was perfect. Great host and apartment for a weekend in Toronto.

This was out first experience with Airbnb, and it was overall excellent. The price is right for the location. Kind of in a dirty area, but due to the age of the neighborhood, this seems typical. It's absolutely in the heart of the action. So many restaurants and bars. There's a bike share rack within a block away, so the whole downtown core is easily accessible.

It was a small and comfortable place. There was some noise due to construction in the morning and music at night but it was a very nice and affordable place.

I am easy-going and very personable. I also like personal space and to be able to enjoy peace and quiet. I am a mature woman of few words... most of the time. I have a beautiful bulldog named Ginger. She is also very friendly and she doesn't bark... most of the time.
