A unique stay in the countryside! Wake up to the blue sky and trees above in this gorgeous, light and airy 23 foot yurt. Open the doors and greet the resident rare breed pigs, chickens, and peacock.

A fantastic stay for young families or the couple just wanting a weekend away.

Cook your dinner on the bbq or in our custom smoker, then roast marshmallows in the fire pit while gazing at the stars overhead.

The space
A fenced meadow means kids and dogs are safe while they wander the space and parents enjoy some quiet time. There is a bbq, smoker, picnic benches, hammock, and football goal.

The yurt has electricity running to it, powering your electric kettle, lighting, refrigerated cooler, microwave, and toaster. There is a multifuel stove in the yurt to take the edge off of any chilly nights.

There is NO shower. There is a drinking water supply to an outdoor tap, as well as a composting loo with handwashing facilities.

A superking and a single bed are permanently in place. We also have a double floor mattress and travelcot if you require them - please let us know and we'll get them in place for you.

The meadow is adjacent to two residences, both with children, so we ask that guests are respectful and quiet after 9pm.

Well behaved dogs are welcome; we ask a £20 additional surcharge, that can be paid at the same time as purchasing any additional firewood or other optional extras.

There is space for an additional tent to be pitched for an additional charge if you want to bring more than 5 guests. Please contact us to arrange. Thank you and see you soon!

Where you’ll be

Stebbing, England, United Kingdom

We are not far from the Flitch Way - a great long distance bike route between local villages. Stebbing has a small village shop and traditional pub, The White Hart, doing food and drink. Any keen fishermen can bring their rods and organise a day ticket on our private fishing pond. Little Dunmow has fantastic The Flitch of Bacon, great for food or just a drink in the sunshine. Local market town, Dunmow, 5 minutes drive away, has everything you need and an array of restaraunts (try Square One!), ice cream shops, and a couple great independent shops (Lloyd Waters, The Shopkeeper Store and Luckins Wine).
