Stix Cabin provides the perfect getaway for couples, families, and friends. Scenically situated, the expansive windows create a light filled space to take in the breathtaking forest vista.

The space
The cabin is studio style containing the kitchen, seating area, and the main queen bed in one room. A separate bunk room contains an additional two queen beds. The protected screen room for lounging and dining features a propane fire table for cool nights. There is also a fireplace inside the cabin for added warmth and ambience.

Enjoy the carefully curated interior equipped with modern conveniences for you to enjoy nature at it's finest. The kitchen contains a full size fridge, dishwasher, countertop oven and cooktop, toaster, blender, even a slow cooker. Essential condiments are provided as well as an outdoor BBQ.

We always encourage our guests to unplug, but if you'd like to use the internet during your stay we do have wifi. A wireless BOSE speaker is provided and a record player.

Enjoy a camp fire in the outdoor fire bowl but it is the guest's responsibility to be aware of all fire regulations in effect.

Water conservation is encouraged, as the cabin's water is trucked in and septic trucked out.

Up to two pets are allowed, a fee of $50.00 will be incurred for the additional cleaning required. Please do not allow your pets on the indoor or outdoor furniture in respect of other guests. And they must be on-leash at all times around the cabin and community.

Smoking is not allowed inside the cabin or on the deck.

NOTE: Parties or events of any kind including photo shoots are prohibited unless arranged officially with the host. Make sure your reservation accounts for every person staying. Please don’t invite extra guests other than those included in your reservation.

The cabin is located in a rural community that feels secluded but with neighbouring properties. Please be respectful of the neighbouring cabins. The town of Nordegg is only a 5 minute drive from the cabin with essential services such as gas, limited groceries, and liqour. Please research ahead of time and plan your visit as the next nearest town, Rocky Mountain House, is an hour away.
