Behind the Cowboy Warehouse, this very cowboy cabin was built around 1940 and is part of the restoration of the property that started with the original John Deere dealership building in 2019. You will find a surprisingly secluded lot in a mixed commercial and residential area. Offstreet parking, security cameras, free and fast wifi, a full kitchen, work space, big screen TV with Netflix and Prime, and an in-cabin washer/dryer, all located within blocks of the downtown core.

The space
The Cowboy Cabin has the true vibe of the old west with the modern conveniences of wifi, tv, and indoor plumbing. The kitchen sink is original to the structure and boy, can you tell. One really needs to utilize the wash basin when doing dishes (you will see why). The kitchen is equipped with a full fridge, full oven, microwave, toaster oven, air fryer, dishware, pots and pans.

Location

Lakeview, Oregon, United States

If you like a throwback to the rugged west, we have the cabin for you. Our town is a true western rural town, host to one of the oldest rodeos in Oregon, PRCA events are held over the Labor Day weekend. In the winter, there is skiing at the Warner Canyon Ski Hill, one of the many hidden gems Lake County, it is a small and affordable ski experience.

My husband--the crazy rehab guy went off and bought a small 1930's warehouse with NO plans in mind. But, "it is cool", he said. After much thinking on this space, he decided to create an AirBnB with three units. Before I knew it, we had moved ourselves into the other half of the upstairs to better maintain the property. Our small western town, along with the rough and wild nature of the warehouse, naturally creates a cowboy-like environment. We are close to everything, most notably, the fairgrounds that hosts one of the oldest rodeos in Oregon and is less than a mile down the road. The PRCA events are just one of the highlights over the Labor Day Weekend. Guests have a private place to park in an enclosed 'corral' with security cameras posted around the property. Inside, it is a flight of stairs up to the guest rooms--all private, with very little 'interference' from the hosts. Each Studio has its own decor, from purely cowboy to the Gentleman Rancher Italy room. The Cowboy Warehouse is still in production in the sense that the grounds continue to be developed and additions such as the coffee/tea bar (with surprise snacks fairly often appearing on the table) and upper deck seating coming right along. It has been a blast doing this place up, re-imagining what can happen in our hard-hit rural neighborhood and meeting the most wonderful people from all around the country. We are quiet, private folks and respect the privacy of others, so there will be very little interaction from us (unless you seek us out, of course) while you are a guest in our unique AirBnB.
