Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.
This lakeside cabin sits on 150 feet with dreamy sunset views across the lake and misty, magical sunrise views in the morning. To beat the heat, go for a swim right off our shore for a clean, refreshing dip. Guests looking for an adventure can rent kayaks or canoes up the road at Pelee Wings Nature Store to explore the lake or hit the wetlands at Point Pelee National Park.

The space
While our cabin does not have air conditioning or a full kitchen, you’ll be refreshed by the amazing lake breeze that flows through the space. We also provide all the basic tools needed to prepare simple meals inside, so you can enjoy home-cooked food in a cozy, camp-like setting. A 2 piece half bath is private inside the cottage. A shared outdoor shower is available for use.

Our property features two cottages—the Green Jelly Bean Tiny Home Cabin and the Red Jelly Bean Cabin. Both cottages share a large outdoor space, providing an opportunity to meet and connect with guests from the other cabin while still enjoying your own peaceful retreat. If you’re traveling with a larger group or seeking more privacy, you can inquire about renting both cottages; we’d be happy to provide you with more details.

Guest access
You will be given a door code upon successful security deposit hold to allow you access to the home.

Other things to note
Please make sure to complete these steps before your arrival date: Complete Point of Contact Form and Rental Agreement.

Our Point of Contact Form allows for a smooth check-in process. You will be asked to upload a picture of a piece of government-issued photo ID and list the full names of all over-night guests, just like you would do for a hotel reservation.

Our rental agreement is a way for us to ensure that both parties are aware of and agree to the terms of the rental. By signing the agreement, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand the rules and guidelines set forth for your stay. This helps to create a smooth and enjoyable experience for all involved.

In addition to the rental agreement, we require a $350 offline security deposit hold. A link will be sent to you.

These steps are required to be completed in order for your door access code to be generated.

Neighbourhood highlights

From this prime waterfront location, you are minutes from the gates of Point Pelee National Park, a bird and butterfly sanctuary, home of the annual Festival of Birds, with campgrounds, nature trails, and 20 km of sandy beach to take a refreshing swim or to build sandcastles at the southernmost point of mainland Canada. You can reach the National Park on a short walk down picturesque Point Pelee Drive or a casual stroll along the sandy beach from the Lakehouse.

Also, a short drive from the Lakehouse is:
Erie Shores Golf & Country Club, an 18-hole public course nestled on the shore of Lake Erie; Leamington Marina, a deep-water marina that provides various dock sizes; and Pelee Island Ferry Terminal, to take a 1.5-hour ferry ride to Pelee Island and enjoy wine tours, a picnic, swimming, fishing, boating, or a bike ride around the island. Seacliff Park and Beach is a popular local spot featuring an accessible beach boardwalk, beach volleyball and basketball courts, shaded picnic areas, and a splash pad.

The Lake Erie North Shore region is also known for its award-winning wineries lying on the same 42nd parallel as other world famous wine regions like Napa, California, Portugal, Spain and Italy.
