Welcome to Port Cottage! A beautiful 1870’s cottage that is unique, calming and has a few little quirks! Steeped in history and once home to Joseph Lyons - Tasmania’s first and only prime minister. Perfectly nestled under the famous ‘Nut’ and within walking distance to everything. We even have resident penguins in our yard.

The space
Curated with love, this is the perfect escape for couples or small families. Everyone that has visited our cottage comments on the warm cozy feel inside and good energy. There is something calming about Port Cottage, especially looking out the dining room or kitchen windows up towards the ‘Nut’ and enjoying the different shades of light. We especially love sitting in the back yard looking at the ‘Nut’ with a beverage in hand! You will love our outdoor bath!

Our open plan living area enjoys plenty of windows, air conditioning, snug lounge and queen chairs. We have many good books, WiFi and Netflix. The fully equipped country style kitchen has everything you will need.

Our beds are comfy, we have lovely linen and a great bathroom with toilet and laundry combined.

You will have full access to the cottage and gardens - the back yard is private and peaceful, we have easy parking with room for 4 vehicles and even have a carport. Our garage and bungalow is not accessible for guests. A few days before your arrival we will message you access details.
