We very much enjoyed our stay at the Nire River Cottage. The pictures do not due the house justice. The space is light and extremely comfortable. We relaxed on the deck and enjoyed the birds singing and the sound of the rushing water. It was an easy and beautiful drive to both Dungarven (the sea coast) and Clonmel. The cottage has guides to many beautiful hikes and walks through the mountains. The cottage has a very spacious feel to it. We were 4 adults and stayed for 4 days. The cottage had everything we needed. It was lovely!

If your looking for a home away from home then don't look any further than this beautiful cottage. the pictures don't do this cottage justice. It truly is a magical place nestled quietly in the heart of the nire valley. Listening to the birds sing and the water crash against the rocks as it streamed down from the valley was my morning wake up call. Highly recommended this one of a kind hide away. Ideal for artist, writers or anyone just wanting to skip away to Mother Nature and relax.

6 of us stayed in Nire Valley River Cottage for 2 nights and had a lovely experience. The house was warm, clean and comfortable and had a lovely fire with starter pack of fuel which was all we needed for our stay. The house has plenty of reading material and the sound of the river rushing past outside creates a lovely tranquil vibe.
