The hostel looks even better than in the photos. The room was clean and cozy. The receptionist girl Andrea was very friendly and helpful. Location is great, you don’t need to take a taxi or bus to explore the main spots of the city.

El Manso is a nice space, good value given the great location right off the Malecón. We did not stay in the room as advertised as apparently that room had water issues. The room we did stay in didn’t have a balcony but was still nice.

Response from Ricardo:
Hi Hannah, thanks for your comments. Sorry that you were not given advance notice of the change of room, but we were trying until last minute to fix it. Anyways, the room you received was a better one, we normally sell it for a higher price. That is why I did not consider it important to send you a message about this; the front desk staff was supposed to let you know that; I am sorry if they didnt =)

This place was as advertised. Great location next to the malecón and very comfortable. Enjoyed the free breakfast and the warm atmosphere. Will come again.

Bright and spacious room with a very comfortable bed... As well you have your own badroom which is more like a cabin than a room but it was totaly fine for us! The room in general looks quite used but all works fine. Just note that you have a big window facing towards the Malecon…

Nice place with great food! (Try the quinoa burger) The hotel is centrally located, next to the malecon. There is a lot of traffic so it is not a quiet area. The room is very clean and cosy!
