The space
Escape to our exclusive A-frame hut nestled at the rear of our sprawling 25-acre sanctuary, Brae Ridge Farm. A brief stroll through our fields (just 3 minutes) leads you to your private and peaceful oasis. (No vehicle access to your hut).
From the moment you arrive, the entire hut and surrounding land belong to you alone — no schedules, no interruptions.

Its truly magical. Everything you need to heal and recharge is here. A basket to put away your electronics, a journal to write your deepest most secret thoughts, alpacas to calm your energy, a specially curated set of books to inspire, a meditation hammock and silence to heal your mind.
Twelve beautiful alpacas live in a nearby pasture on the property. Feel their calm presence as it relieves the tension in your shoulders and clears your overstimulated mind. You are invited to sit with them in the evening.
You can wander down the path into the woods, or relax in a hammock to watch wildflowers dance in the breeze and listen to the sweet sound of bird song.
Follow your impulses: this entire space is yours to shape into whatever sanctuary you need.
By design, there is no Wi-Fi and we invite you to reset your mind and body by placing your phone in a wicker basket so you can be fully present. This is a place for deep rest and healing. The forest bathes in silence encouraging you to slow down, imagine and just be.
Inside the hut:
A simple kitchenette is stocked with herbal teas, organic coffee, and wholesome snacks. Nourish yourself when you’re hungry; there’s no strict meal plan unless you make one.
You will find a foot pump water sink for easy clean up. Although, no need to worry about washing dishes - our exemplar service takes care of those dirty dishes for you so you can truly relax.

A climb up the ladder brings you to a loft where you will sink into a memory foam double mattress with bamboo sheets and an explosion of pillows with a window to watch the forest canopy as you fall into a blissful sleep.
Outside:
This is where the magic happens. Surrounded by a maple forest and wildflower meadow you will feel like you have been dropped into a private oasis that is peaceful and idyllic.
As night falls, be transported to a realm of magic with the symphony of cicadas and frogs, and the mesmerizing dance of fireflies.
A very clean and bright outdoor washroom with high end compostable toilet and vanity with pump water are just outside the hut. There is no shower facilities.
You’ll find a yoga mat, meditation hammock, personal journal and a carefully curated book library just for you - tools to help you meditate at dawn, write under starlight, or simply rest into deep stillness. You sleep when you’re tired and eat when you’re hungry and read for as long as you like.
In the evenings, light a fire and let the gentle crackling be your lullaby. The warmth invites meditation and reflection. No need to bring firewood as wood and fire starters are supplied - you are truly taken care of.
A 30 second walk brings you to alpaca paddocks where you can enjoy your favourite beverage as you watch champion alpacas graze, horses gallop and Indian Runner Duck antics.
Enjoy a 10 minute hike through the maple forest from the steps of your hut.

Please keep in mind that this is luxury camping (glamping!) that is off grid with limited water.
Although every effort has been made to ensure your comfort, this is a glamping experience with critters such as foxes, coyotes, bugs and mosquitos sharing your space. If outside spaces make your squeamish and nervous this may not be the place for you. It is a loft style hut with a steep ladder and small double bed that is not suitable for above average larger individuals.
