My place is a house composed of two rooms, a kitchen, a toilet, a balcony and a terrace. It is surrounded by mountains for those who like hiking and mountain biking. It is also close to the Atlantic ocean, 45 minutes walk. You can borrow my bike, too.
I am ambitious and open-minded. Constantly on the road and in love with people and life. Open to any possible experiences just as any aficionado of the Beat Generation. I was born in a Berber village and I believe in simplicity and hospitality as all the natives of this mother Earth. Be cool and simple. If you can't handle it, put it aside and move on. There must be a way somewhere some time. I always look forward to meeting people from various cultural backgrounds. I abhor all forms of oppression, segregation and categorization. Traveling taught me more than schools and religious premises about what it means to be a human being. We could totally be different, but we've got to give peace a chance. Sleep in each others arms or share a tent just as I once did in Desolation Peak. The fact that I am poet makes me think that I am leading an idealistic life. I wouldn't mind that as long as I aspire to change the status quo. I am a poet, translator and a member of a band I created. I play alto saxophone. I am a member of 100 Thousand Poet for Change. My first collection of poems Mrs Jones Will Now Know: Poems of a Desperate Rebel has been published last July. Check it out! Here are some links to my published poems and translations:
My place is a shared apartment. You will have your own private room. You can either cook or eat in the local cafes and restaurant. A public bath/Hamam is outside the main building where my apartment is located. You will be surrounded by mountains if you like hiking. I can also lend you my mountain bike. The Atlantic ocean is five minutes from my place on bus. Lots of surfers come here in different seasons. I would love to share and collaborate with other artists all over the world. I have a huge personal library as well as some musical instruments to which you have access if you would like to join me. Welcome to Morocco!
