Stay comfortably (max. 6 persons) in this cottage, renovated in 2021 and suitable for winter use, in a quiet environment along the Archipelago ring road, close to Turku (12km), golf courses (Aurinkogolf 7 km, Kankainen Golf 6 km), Moomin World 12km. Cottage and sauna building with bathroom and air heat pump, large glazed terrace with gas barbecue.

Wood-heated sauna 15 eur/evening, hot tub 80 eur/evening, electric car charging 20c/kwh.

The space
A peaceful and sunny spot at the end of a road. Rural living with good and quick access to Turku and Naantali.

Our family's cottage (50m2) from 1952 has been completely renovated in 2019-2021. The sauna building (20 m2) is brand new, completed in summer 2021. All equipment is new and modern. Air heat pumps in both buildings, dishwasher, washing machine, etc.

The cottage has a 140 cm wide bed, a 120 cm wide sofa bed downstairs, and a 120 cm wide sofa bed in the sauna room. Upstairs there are two beds and two high-quality floor mattresses, which can also be moved downstairs for sleeping.

The upstairs is uninsulated and it is only used during the warm season (summer and spring/autumn when the daily temperature is above 10°C). In the cold season, the cottage and sauna room can accommodate up to six people, but in the summer there is even more space when the upstairs is used for sleeping.

The use of the hut and sauna is agreed separately, including the payment, so you don't have to pay for these when making the reservation. The sauna cottage is at your disposal anyway, it comfortably accommodates two people.

There is a electric car charging station (type 2 plug) for your electric car. Separate charge for charging is
20c/kwh. Let us know your charging needs at the time of booking.

Guest access
The cottage has a large yard that has parking space for plenty of cars. Nearby a good couple of kilometres walk away there is the Pähkinänmäki hut and a lean-to where you can have fire and barbecue. The firewood supply at the hut is good. Walking trips can be made to the nearby fields and forests. Deer, foxes, etc. can be seen almost daily in the field next to the cottage.

Other things to note
We do not charge a cleaning fee, as it is the guest's responsibility to clean up before leaving. However, if you do not wish to clean, please let us know before your stay. The cleaning fee will then be EUR 40 per month. 2 persons, additional persons 10€/person.

We welcome well-behaved pets.

Where you’ll be

Masku, Finland

There is a single-family home just down the road and very little passing traffic. The yard is bordered to the west and north-west by a field and woodland, where deer, foxes and a pair of cranes have regularly roamed. At the end of the plot is a very small river Piuhanoja, where ducks are often seen in summer. On the north side of the yard there is a small rapids, rare in Southwest Finland. In the nearby forest, a few hundred metres away, there is a Bronze Age archaeological site (1700-500 BC). Similar burial sites can be found on the other side of the valley.

There are elderly people living in the nearby village, so please take this into account.

I'm a long-line reliable and honest Airbnb host. I appreciate the cleanliness and take good care of my accommodations, and I expect the same from my guests. I'll respond to your messages quickly, and you can reach me, either through Airbnb or by calling directly. I know the Turku archipelago very well. If you'd like, you'll get some great tips for tourism around Turku anyway.
