1 Lawn cottage is a beautiful cozy one-bedroom cottage in the middle of the Somerset levels, in the small village of Godney, with views of the Glastonbury Tor from every window.
The cottage sits on a country road, along which trundle the odd tractor or car, and friendly cyclists. It's a picturesque spot to have a morning coffee and start the day, surrounded by nature.

The space
The cottage is well set-up with all the mod-cons. Light and airy in the summer, snug and warm for cooler days. Perfect in any season.

Downstairs comprises a well equipped kitchen - induction hob, fan oven, fridge/freezer, wine fridge (for cooling a tipple or two), Nespresso coffee machine (for the morning after).
The living space has a comfy sofa, log burner and smart TV for cozy nights in. There is a bluetooth speaker to play the sound-track to your stay.

As you walk upstairs, the cottage is flooded with natural light from multiple skylights.
The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with waterfall shower-head.
In the bedroom there is a king-size bed with Emma mattress for a super restful sleep.
The best thing is waking up to stunning views of the Glastonbury Tor, watching sheep and cows grazing the fields, listening to birds tweet their good-morning song.
The bedroom also has a DAB radio and breakfast tray for those lazy mornings we all deserve on holiday!

The cottage has everything you need to unwind, re-charge and treat yourself.

The Local Area
The village of Godney is perfectly situated between Wells, Glastonbury and Street.
15 minutes from picturesque Wells (the UK’s smallest City), with its famous Cathedral, lovely shops and many restaurants, coffee shops and pubs.
10 minutes to Glastonbury, with the famous Glastonbury Tor and some quirky shops which makes for a great day out.
10 minutes to Street, for all your retail therapy needs at Clarks Village with lots of big brand names at discounted prices!

Although Godney is a small village, it’s home to one of the best pubs in Somerset - The Sheppey - which has won multiple awards.
The Sheppey is a only 15 minute walk/2 minute drive, ideal for an evening meal or a quick drink or three! Booking is recommended.

The local area is perfect for country walks, and also great for cycling - with long, flat, winding roads. Keep an eye our for the murmurations, which people come from far and wide to see!
