The area is called Amager, and the apartment is situated super central close to shops and cafes. There is a mall across the street where you can find everything you would need and grocery shopping. Just 2 minutes walk you will find the local fish shop, local danish butcher, a small bakery with all the traditional danish sweets, restaurants and cafes are no more than 5 min walk. If you would like to visit Christiania it's only 5 min bike, or the new popular area Reffen it would be 10 min biking, the same for the city center. I would highly recommend to rent some bikes and just go explore!
