A 2 minute walk from Stratford's historic downtown core. We believe the old red brick coach house pre-dates the main house built in 1902 (The Old Rectory B&B)
We renovated the space in 1999 and again in 2021 with the addition of new kitchens and bathrooms whilst maintaining the original feel of the old building.
The space features rough plaster walls, high beamed ceiling, slate & rustic pine floors.
The 2 level suite features spacious sleeping quarters, sitting room, kitchen and private garden.

The space
OWNER OPERATED, we care with care!
On the first level is a King size bed with a wrought iron headboard, ensuite washroom/shower.
A gas fireplace, whisper quiet air conditioning and ceiling fan to keep you comfortable regardless of weather.
Well equipped kitchens in the lofted area, featuring 4 burner induction cooktop, microwave, dishwasher, laundry washer/dryer, coffee maker, kettle, toaster oven along the utensils chefs like Kim and I would expect in our own kitchen.
There's a banquette with sitting space for 4 in the kitchen.
Monthly Rates are available. Call us direct for quote.
Sorry, but we don't have many reviews or superhost status, a symptom of 28 years in operation. We are nearly always booked, so book early!

Other things to note
We've been hosting in this location for 28 years as The Old Rectory B&B. We look forward to meeting you or seeing our returning guests. 2021 was our 1st year using Air BNB for these suites hence the lack of reviews! A symptom of 28 years in operation with returning guests is that we are nearly always booked, so book early! We do have reviews, you'll have to look a little harder;)

We both share a passion for good wholesome food. Kevin has worked previously for 15 years at some of the U.K.'s and Irelands finest 'Relais & Chateaux' Country Inns and Hotels in their restaurants before moving to Stratford from Ireland in 1993. Kim is a native of Stratford and has traveled extensively on a private yacht catering to crew and invited guests. Both of us now enjoy life together in the great community of Stratford with our son among family and friends. Together we hope to nourish your body and soul. We hope you enjoy.

My work: Bed and breakfast owner since 1996 at OldRectoryStratford. Chef/Sous chef/apprentice , you get the drill at many fine restaurants like The Savoy London, Gidleigh Park Hotel/UK, Kildare Hotel, Ireland, Roscoffs Belfast, Marlfield House Ireland.....
Lives in Stratford, Canada
I travel with culture in mind. Whether it's quietly meandering a small village or exploring the big city, getting to meet the locals is paramount to the experience. Language isn't the barrier, a smile and a humble willingness to partake usually overcome any preconceived barriers to friendship. A lifelong background in hospitality focused on the culinary arts has opened my horizons for many years now. Theatre, architecture, music and scenery usually make up the decision on my 'where to next' trip.
