I didn't stay in "manulalu bed and breakfast" because our flight cancelled due to bad weather at bajawa airport I hope there will be refund policy beacuse of this and I aware if manulalu can't refund 100%, but I think 50% refund will be fair for us Currently, I still ask them about this

The view from this place is fantastic, and grounds are beautifully landscaped. Other than that, we were rather unimpressed by the arrangement and decor of the rooms (sink/mirror in the shower?!?, window looking out onto a wall, superhero print in the room), and the location is such that you need to stay for meals unless you have your own transport. The staff on shift that day were extremely disorganized and unaware how to keep track of guests' meals, so we waited a very long time to eat. OK for one night, but I wouldn't stay longer.

We were greeted by the most friendliest Jimmy, who is one of the most attentive workers I have met. We were booked into villa 3 but ended up with villa 1 which was amazing wiht privacy and a view. It seems that there are only two rooms with some sort of privacy as the others face in on a communal walk way and this would make it hard to leave your window open. But the premise is tranquil and so quiet compared to the business of Bajawa some 20 mins away. The view is simply stunning where an open area entices you to chill with a beer and enjoy the sunset over the volcanic mountains. It's all very tasteless decorated and the open fire at night was really something as it got chilly during Sept.

Manulalu is a really nice and cosy place, definitely the best value in bajawa! Rooms are nice and big and the view is amazing. Never would've expected to read books next to a fireplace in Indonesia (it gets cold at night). Manulalu is near by all the traditional villages but quite far from bajawa. If you have your own car or motorbike, it's perfect, otherwise it may be difficult to travel around. They have 3 scooters for rent but 2 of them are not in the best condition and the roads can be pretty tough. Apart from that we had a really nice time.
