The space
This attractive, cedar clad building is close to, but entirely separate from the main house. Parking is right outside
Though the space is compact, I have tried to provide everything essential for a comfortable, relaxing break. There is a king sized bed, two armchairs, hanging space and a chest of drawers.
The bed linen and soft furnishings are of high quality and the style represents my love of travel and collecting . The kitchenette area contains a sink, fridge /freezer, microwave, Nespresso machine, toaster, egg boiler and kettle. This is by no means a full kitchen but that creates the perfect excuse for visitors to explore the excellent local eateries or to buy something to microwave from the local Waitrose or M and S !
I provide a simple breakfast of eggs, bread, croissants, cereal, milk, tea, coffee and preserves
The shower room has a vanity unit and a good shower.
Outside is a private small terrace with seating and a dining table, cushions are provided. This is a good area to view the wildlife including deer, hare and some interesting bird life.

I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting with Airbnb for the last 3 years and try my best, within my limitations, to offer a 5 star experience.
I enjoy walking, tennis, cycling , all wildlife and many outdoor pursuits.
I have travelled widely overseas but particularly enjoy my breaks in the English Lake District where all my family originate from.

I am very happy to share some of my space with people who enjoy comfort and a rural outlook.
I have a wonderful scruffy little mongrel dog who is a Pets as Therapy dog, she is friendly but pretty unobtrusive !
I really enjoy meeting new people, spoiling them a little and learning a bit about their lives but I am equally happy to leave visitors to their own company . I try always to respect the privacy of my guests.
