We loved the location. Just short or moderate walks to all the key places in the historic city center. The apartment is charming with high ceilings and very fun original art in the living space and on the roof patio. We enjoyed just being there, both in the main living space and on the roof. Located on an "andador", which is for pedestrians only, means it's generally quiet. (However there is always the problem of the noisy carts of the street cleaners early in the morning and the early church bells - but that's Mexico...) The bathroom situation is a little funky. You have to go outside from the bedroom into a partially covered private outside atrium in order to step up into the small bathroom. At night in the dark it can be tricky to navigate. And I wouldn't want to do that in the cold. But we managed in the summer. The host, Leo, could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We really appreciated his interest in ensuring that we had what we needed. He's a first class host.

Amazing space with plenty of excellent restaurants nearby. Leo was extremely helpful and very flexible with my check in and check out times. All in all a fantastic vacation and I'd definitely stay here again.

Incredible apartment in a fantastic location in the historic center of town. I stayed here for a month and loved getting to know the city from this central location close to restaurants and cultural sites. The interior and the rooftop patio also feature very creative artwork that adds to the ambiance. Leo is very accessible and responsive and can provide great recommendations. I'd stay here again!

This is a great location in Centro. You have many eateries within just a few minutes walk and lots of activities going on day and night. This place is not only convenient but it gives you a real sense of life in the neighborhood and the people who live there. Your neighbors keep song birds, play music, sell goods and walk their children to school. You also have the bonus of a great rooftop to watch sunsets and see the city lights. The evenings here are lively so it gives you a little entertainment too (don't expect to have a lot of quiet if you are a light sleeper.) We enjoyed our time here and we would stay here again.

We stayed in the Suite on Progreso #14 for almost 6 weeks, and could not have chosen a better location. We did not have a car, so the close proximity of everything in the lovely Centro of Queretaro was more that perfect. Sometimes living in the center of a large city brings much noise and irritation, but la Antiqua Calle de Progreso, and the other pedestrian streets that transverse the old town of Querétaro make walking such a pleasure. Everything we needed was very close at hand, and all the important historical sites (and there are many) are within easy walking distance through interesting and beautiful routes. Civic pride is so evident! Leo was completely accessible and helped us out when a couple minor issues presented themselves. He also answered all of our questions, making our stay that much more enjoyable. The neighborhood of Santa Cruz is full of good energy with wonderful restaurants, the lovely church and convent of Santa Cruz, and a plaza that is always lively. Special shout out to the restaurant El Chamizo on the convergence of Independencia and Venestiano Carranza-a wonderful little cafe with delicious and beautiful comida. I don't think we could have chosen a better location. Thank you, Leo, Cristina, Silvia and Malena!
